2015 favourites \ June-July

July has been a bit of a busy one so I didn't get a chance to pop up any June favourites, which means only one thing, double whammy!  Get yourself a cup of hot chocolate, a party ring and get comfy, there's a whole 12 links coming your way ...

Zoeva, Charlotte Tilbury, Bourjois, Benefit, Norman Parkinson, Becca Cosmetics, Jaclyn Hill, Champagne Pop, Nars, Sunday Riley, Mac Cosmetics, Mac, brushes, Maybelline

Let's talk brushes first, one from Zoeva and one from Mac.  The Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek is my new favourite for applying powder blush, it picks up the perfect amount of product and provides a light dusting of colour to the cheek area.  With its incredibly soft bristles you'll have to restrain yourself from just cleaning it and stroking your face ...

These past few months I've been playing a lot with cream products and the +MAC Cosmetics 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush has been my tool of choice.  It picks up a light application of product ensuring that each product whether it be blush, bronzer, contour or highlighter looks incredibly natural and blended upon skin.

This leads on to the cream products themselves, the first 3 for the face are taken from +Charlotte Tilbury's latest Norman Parkinson collection.  A delectable compilation of cosmetics which make you see hearts and stars instead of other images.  Filmstar Bronze & Glow Sun Tan & Sun Light is the cream equivalent of the famous Filmstar Bronze & Glow, and let me tell you, it's absolute fantastic.  The formulation, the colour pigmentation, the longevity is just stunning, even if you choose cream contour as a bronzer.

Colour of Youth is a beautiful cream blusher also from the Norman Parkinson collection which holds a luscious, rich dusty rose colour giving you that lightly flushed appearance, bella bella Tilbury you've given us a treat!  When it comes to cream blushes this is the cream de la cream (let's move on to the next before I throw in another pun...)

The final cream product, again comes from Charlotte Tilbury but I ordered a whole lotta goodies so put them to good use the past few months, this time in the form of Bette from Eyes to Mesmerise.  An absolutely incredible cream eyeshadow that can either be used as a light wash of colour or built up for a more intense look.  This is no exaggeration when I say I haven't worn anything else on my eyes for the two months.  Creamy, yet it won't crease nor budge throughout the day, holds a pack of colour with a light shimmer and shall leave you wanting more!

To finish the face products we have, just take a moment, the most incredible and versatile highlighter out there created by +Jaclyn Hill and +BECCA Cosmetics, Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop.  If you're looking for that ultimate WOW highlighter, then this my friends shall also be your best friend!  For more deets check out my recent blog post here.

When it comes to brows we're all looking for that 'quick fix' and that's exactly what +Benefit Cosmetics UK & Ireland offer with their Gimme Brow.  If you're looking for a product that will thicken, plump and add colour to your brows then this my friends is the fix that you're looking for!  I tend to use my Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wizz to add that shape and then finish the deal off with Gimme Brow in light/medium, or if pressed for time, Gimme Brow is the only thing slapped on!

Lipsticks are one of my things (along with highlighters) and this is one of my favourites, Afghan Red from Nars (fourth row down third from the right in that link).  Smoothly gliding on to your lips, in my eyes it is definitely more of a plum, mauve colour that is just beautiful and can be used to either dress up or down a look.

For nails I have two products, one Surreal nail varnish from +Maybelline UK (bottom row, fifth from the right in link), which is the perfect bold blue for the warmer months.  A bold almost cornflower blue which would look great on paler or darker skin, that you'll find stay put for days on end, no really, this takes something to budge!  The second is a nail varnish removing tool from +BourjoisUK, Magic 2 in 1 Nail Polish Remover, simply pop your finger in the pot, swivel it round and the sponges soaked in nail varnish remover do all the work for you.  It is effectively the lazy solution to removing nail varnish, everyone's dream!

To round up this post, yes you may now finish that party ring biscuit, is a skincare item from Sunday Riley in the form of Good Genes.  This product is truly a majestical lactic acid treatment that actually brings your skin back to life every single morning.  You'll find your skin plumped, refreshed, revitalised and brightened ready for the day ahead, it's literally a cloud-nine skincare product in a glass jar.

We're at the end and it is almost time fort hat final full stop ... It is safe to say, my fingers have had their typing exercise for the week, sorry it's long post y'all, I won't miss a monthly favourites again!

Thanks for reading peeps and I'll catch you very soon!  Please leave me your monthly favourites in the comments section below, I love seeing what other peoples are and exploring them ...
