Can you believe it's already the end of September and dare I say it, Christmas is looming upon us already! This month sees a catalogue of both old gems and forgotten treasures from +Charlotte Tilbury, +Makeup Geek, +Zoeva Cosmetics, Le Specs, Milani and more...
Although we're coming in to September I've still been loving adding a bit of warmth to my skin with bronzer from Charlotte Tilbury and Milani. From her latest collection with Norman Parkinson Charlotte Tilbury created a cream version of her filmstar bronze and glow called Filmstar Bronze & Glow Sun Tan & Sun Light and the bronzer is stunning. Adding just the right amount of warmth to your skin without being muddy or orange, instead you are left with an incredibly natural bronzed complexion.
For days when I haven't wanted to wear foundation I've been loving mixing the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow with my tinted moisturiser to get that inner glow finish that is completely effortless. Your skin is instantly given a new lease of life and ready to play for the day ahead.
There's no denying it that Makeup geek eyeshadows are some of my favourites and are in fact there's not a day when makeup is on my face that these aren't used. Coming in to Autumn I've been loving using Pretentious to give that gorgeous warm brown shimmer colour that both adds dimension and makes your eyes really stand out.
The Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease and 227 Soft Luxe Definer from the Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol 2 Collection have been my ride or die eye brushes for a while, but this month I've really seen how much I rely on them with other shadow tools being pushed aside, sorry mac 217. Not only are they perfect for getting in to the crease, they pick up pigment like nobodies business and blend out like a dream. Click here for my full post on these.
Milani Baked Blush in Rose D'Ore has very quickly become one of my all-time favourite blushers, adding a beautiful warm colour and glow to the skin all in one hit. The colour lasts me a full working day and blends on to the skin with a simple swipe.
Whilst the sun may be gradually going away here on it's Winter holiday my new Le Specs Hermosa Cat Eye Printed Acetate Sunglasses are making the most of every opportunity whilst it's still around. A pink leopard print frame with blue reflective lenses make them definitely a statement accessory but they make me see hearts!
Music wise this month I have been loving the new album Water for Your Soul by Joss Stone. That's right, the lady is back with a bang bringing her soulful voice to a catalogue of lyrics ready to get you swaying and singing along.
