Mac Cinderella Collection : Pigments, Glitter and Powders

The world went Disney crazy when the Cinderella remake film was announced and then Mac put us even more in to a state of frenzy when they unveiled the Mac Cinderella collaboration.  Poised at my computer I managed to get my hands on a few bits from the line, Pretty it Up and Stepmother pigment, Cinderella Glitter, Iridescent Powder and the Beauty Powder.  For my complexion, the lipsticks and lip glasses were too nude so these beauties seemed the best options to make me feel like a true princess.

Mac Cinderella Pigment in Pretty It Up is one magical product, a beautiful golden bronze colour which will make any eyes flutter, ppssst it's my favourite thing from the collection.  With a satin finish it can be applied wet or dry, but my favourite method is to spritz a bit of Mac Fix + and then dab the brush in the pot.  This eliminated fall out and maximises the potential held in each fleck.

Mac Cinderella Pigment in Evil Stepmother isn't as scary as it looks in pot or sounds.  Whilst it is a bold colour it isn't anything that will turn you in to a Disney villain!  A deep plum colour with a slight hint of reflection, to really get the most out of this it is best applied wet, but if you want a slightly lighter finish apply it dry and your eyes will still dazzle.

Mac Cinderella Glitter is the belle of the ball, one of my favourite items in the collection.  Using an adhesive base, such as Too Faced Glitter Adhesive this will stick to your lids or inner corners instantly giving the ultimate form of sparkle to your look.  Another way to use this is to dampen a brush and use what is in the lid as a light dusting over your already applied eyeshadow.  This, is the real item that made me feel a bit closer to being Cinderella, or maybe that's just glitter in general.

Mac Cinderella Mystery Princess Beauty Powder is designed to be used all over the face as an almost finishing powder.  A cool toned powder with a pinky shimmery almost frosted finish this can be used as an all over powder however I prefer to use this just as a highlighter to give that subtle glow to your face in all those lovely areas.  It isn't too heavy, but just gives that glow from within finish, that Disney Princess finish.

Mac Cinderella Coupe d'Chic Iridescent Pressed Powder is a beautiful shimmery pink blush/highlighter.  Whilst I wouldn't pop this all over my face I do use it on my cheeks and cheekbones to give that jazzed up Disney Princess feel.  This is one powder that does house a fair bit of glitter so you do have to be fairly careful with fallout, so beware with this area, but aside from this, the colour payoff is beautiful and the shimmer is just b-e-a-u-tiful!
