Going away for work? My travel makeup bag revealed ...

Work has been incredibly busy this year so far, one of the reasons, I've been organising an exhibition which is finally here!  I might do a crazy dance at the end to celebrate. Actually by the time you read this it shall be the final day.

Being away for a couple of days I thought I would show you my makeup bag contents, for long and busy days ahead, I instantly knew what I wanted to pack.

Whether you're away for a week or a few days there's a few things which instantly spring to my mind that must be packed:

Foundation - Chanel Vitalumière Aqua for day time leaving a natural yet glowing finish and my Giorgio Armani for the evenings, if you head on off out for dinner, a miracle in a bottle.

Concealer - Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection, which has become one of my favourite concealers for all areas, dark circles, blemishes, redness, it does a grand job!

Blusher - Charlottle Tilbury, Love Glow, leaving the perfect colour for your cheeks which is long lasting and leaves you looking quite literally as though you're blushing from your first love.

Bronzer + Highlighter - Charlotte Tilbury, Sculpt and Glow.  The perfect compact duo which travels extremely well and holds a beautiful matte brown and one of my all time favourite highlighters.

Mascara - Charlotte Tilbury, Full Fat Lashes and Clinique Bottom Lash mascara.  Clinique I have found gives the most incredible finish to my bottom lashes whilst FFL gives your upper lashes everything that you could ever want!

Eyeshadow + Primer - Naked 2 palette, need I say more.  At the moment I am rediscovering my love for this palette as you can achieve a multitude of looks for both day and night, ridiculously easily.  Also, the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, which I feel ensures these eyeshadows in particular gives these shadows extra holding power and allows easier application with less fallout.

Eyeliner - Charlotte Tilbury  - Veruschka Mink - my go to eyeliners are all from Charlotte Tilbury.  I just find they apply incredibly easy, have the effect of a liquid and are ridiculously blendable.

Brows - Benefit, Gimme Brows which is another recent discovery for me from Affordable April.  They don't budge one bit throughout the day without looking overly heavy.

Lipstick - For the daytime, Topshop, Beatnik, and for the night something to jazz it up with Bourjois Velvet for the evening.  I couldn't resist throwing in another darker shade, I just love them, this one is Rivoli (Rouge Coco 21) from Chanel.

You can also see that Essie - Truth or flare has also snuck in to my makeup bag.  Well, you need to have it there for any snags and touchups!
