Weekly makeup additions #27

With October in full swing, we're greeted with pumpkins and dare I say it flowing Christmas ideas ...  Hang on there Elaine, before we mention that word, let's jump in to this weeks makeup additions from Morphe, +Cover FX and +Kevyn Aucoin.

There's no putting this Morphe Jaclyn Hill favourites palette until last, it's a beast that contains almost every single shade you can imagine and quite possibly need.  Coming in to these months where it's more than acceptable to wack out the warmer shadows this palette shall be flying it's flag for me!   Packed with pigment, easily to blend, these are dreamy, the only problem being that the last time I used these close to my lash line I reacted big time, we're talking swollen, puffy eyes, so, here's for round two, you never know, my eyes may have just been unusually sensitive.  I mean a) it's a Jaclyn Hill palette I shall ensure my eyes don't react and b) just look at the colours again, enough said...

The Custom FX custom cover drops I have had for a while but don't seem to have used them that much so this week I'll give them a go properly mixing them with my tinted moisturiser, concealer and foundations, obviously not all at once!  Designed to give that bit of additional coverage which you can tailor to your own needs with 1-4 drops, it's time to road test this.

Finally is an oldie but a goodie that comes from Kevyn Aucoin, The Celestial Powder in Candlelight.  A dreamy highlighter which gives you that sensational glow with a soft, silky texture which goes virtually undetectable on the skin, that's right, a glow without the evidence.

That's where things end on this note folks, this week is an experimental one with different colours, coverage mixed in with popping a bit of shimmy glow glow in there!

Until next week team, have an awesome week!
