Champagne Pop Shimmer Skin Perfector Pressed, by Jaclyn Hill with Becca Cosmetics

If you aren't a huge youtube fan you may not have heard of +Jaclyn Hill, in which case I highly suggest you check out her channel because you'll realise why there was an empty spot in your heart...  If you have and you adore this wonderfully incredibly talented lady then you'll have been caught up in the hype surrounding Champagne Pop, her new highlighter with +BECCA Cosmetics.  

I got so excited that I actually purchased two in the fear that one day mine would run out and I couldn't pretend to be that one step closer to Jaclyn.  The other reason being that there can never be a day where you know your highlighter won't be on fleek...

Described as a soft white gold with peachy undertones I can confirm that this highlighter is exactly what it says on the package, which is also beautiful.  There is not one detail of this project which has been missed under the telescope, even the packaging has droplets on it which are meant to look like champagne, I mean come on!

Then we go on to the product itself which has, as standard with all Becca shimmering skin perfectors, the plastic slip which goes between the folded mirror and the product itself.  This time though the goddess of Jaclyn has also popped her name on it, believe me, you would stamp your name everywhere too if this were your baby!

Let's move on to the product itself, the gold dust contained within the standard Becca packaging, because aside from that, nothing else is standard.  Whilst Becca 'skimmering skin perfectors usually give an intense glow to your cheeks, this take things to a whole new level of sas, and I freaking love it!  If you're one who loves that glowy, pack a punch finish then this is going to be your next bestie who you'll be skipping down the street with grabbing coffee.

The formulation of the highlighter is the same as all of those from Becca, creamy, rich and have ridiculous amounts of staying power.  

Compared to other highlighters in the range it is incredibly easy to see why this shade would be suitable on all skin types.  You can see my natural skin tone is extremely fair and it looks beyond dreamy, post fake-tanning it looks divine and darker skin tones this shall be like a dream.  Jaclyn has thought of everything, a universal highlighter, which quite literally broke records...and the internet, again, watch out Kim-K, there's a lady on the block!

Compared to other shades in the range you can see that this one is definitely more peachy and shimmery, it stands out from the crowd and is one to set people talking.

Not only does the shade suit various skin tones it can also be used for the generic highlighting points such as in the inner corners of the eye, on the brow bone, above the eyebrows, down the nose and on the cupids bow.  I also love to use these as eyeshadows for that effortlessly chic shimmery eye.

It is safe to say that Jaclyn Hill not only set +Sephora records but has also wormed the way in to a lot of our hearts.  As a person she will have you fall of your chair with laughter, wiping those tears away when things get tough, melting when she's with her husband and in absolute awe at how much talent one woman can have, not only in makeup but in life.  This product signifies a huge milestone in history for Jaclyn and the beauty industry altogether, well done Jaclyn, we love you!
